Antojitos El Tapatio

We had a great brunch experience at this new restaurant in Breckinridge. We had a really sweet young waitress who made sure my little guy got what he wanted & even got him a pancake (which wasn’t on the menu). I had the migas & they were really good. I loved the flour tortillas also.

The food is always great, but I can't figure out if they are trying to be a real restaurant. Charging for water when eating inside, and almost $6.00 for chips and salsa for to-go orders isn't the norm for any reputable Mexican food restaurant. Like I said, the food is great, but it's a little pricey.

We had breakfast there yesterday morning. Couldn't have been better. The huevos rancheros was the best! Different, authentic Mexican beans much better than pintos. Eggs served on a corn tortilla. Excellent reachero sauce. If I lived in Breckenridge, I'd eat there at least once a week! Try eating there and I'll bet you keep coming back.

If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place! Every single dish is made fresh to order and is absolutely delicious. The brisket burrito was overloaded with tender beef, and the chicharrón taco was very flavorful. Very good food for a very good price!
