Antojitos Caribenos

I stopped in on a Monday in early March at around 4pm. I'm visiting El Paso, like every year around this time, and when I travel I like to try new foods. I had never tried Dominican food before and this restaurant was highly rated and close to my location. While I admittedly have only one Dominican food experience, I enjoyed it thoroughly. I got the mofongo and a tamarind juice. The food was in a generous portion and well seasoned. Service was prompt and friendly. Dining area was clean and pleasant. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try more things!

Amazing food and lovely people serving it to you. This is a real gem! The chicken was delicious and the passion fruit drink was fresh and tasty. Can’t recommend enough!

The food is delicious. Everything I tasted was full of flavor and the sauces were all fantastic. Great music, and the staff are very welcoming, they make you feel like you are eating at their home. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for love served on a plate.

Ordered $110 of food knowing our family was out sick for a week and we found that 1. Portions were amazing - probably 12-14 meals! 2. Food was great! There was not one thing we didn’t like. We had two mofongos with pork, bacalaitos, two rice specials, two empanadas, burnt rice ends (free and delicious if you ask), tostones, two pasteles en hoja, one chimi sandwich with smoked sausage. If we had to choose, our favorites were the mofongo with pork. Whatever they season that pork with is incredible. The empanadas were so good - the crust had a great crunch, bread was seasoned perfectly, and the meat was both dry enough to not leak through, but juicy enough to just melt in your mouth.
