One of my favorite restaurants. Their lentil soup and balloon lavash bread are simply the best, and the shepherd’s salad is always incredibly fresh. The service makes the experience even better: Fadime is wonderful and always greets me by name. This time Selim took care of us, and he was equally attentive and professional. We had the lahmacun, the meze platter, and the Adana kebab. Everything was absolutely delicious. I strongly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely keep coming in the new year.
We came here for Sunday lunch. It seemed to be a new Turkish restaurant, very pretty inside with modern interior, beautiful arts and decors, and a small bar area. We got a table right away. The menu had a variety of dishes like appetizers, soups, gyro, kebabs, pasta, pizzas, seafood, wraps and sandwiches. In drinks section, they had the Turkish coffee and tea. We started with their complementary bread, so fluffy and light, we pretty ate the whole thing before any of our dishes came. I ordered my favorite fried liver cubes from the hot apps section, and it was fantastic. It was full of flavor, perfectly sized cubes and properly fried. Tasted so good with the complimentary bread (we requested a second one). For entree we ordered the Mix Grill and Karisik Izgara as it was a perfectly sharabl
You start off with their home made bread and house sauce complimentary when you first seated. We went on with lentil soup and cheddar cheese broccoli soup Delicious to say. We had Babagonoush and mix grill both are highly recommended and flavors are amazing.
A taste of Turkiye in New Jersey. I absolutely love this restaurant. As a Turkish American who has grown up here most of his life, I always search for ways to connect with my culture and enjoy my culture’s wonderful cuisine. There have been very limited places that have instilled in me the joy and experience of eating at Antioch. Every dish is served with a level of care and deep attention to detail. I recommend trying the Lahmacun and appetizer mixed platter.
Delicious food. Wonderful owner and workers. Very clean and warm atmosphere. We visit this restaurant on a weekly basis, and food never disappoints.
