Angelo's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant

The staff hear is great and very courteous along with being mindful of customer. I specially love how Bobby takes care of her client so amazingly well. It’s a nice place to relax and enjoy some nice fresh food. Overall great experience.

The staff is friendly and attentive. I got a plain slice and a pepperoni slice. This pizza had a good level of thickness, not too thick and not too thin. Crust is on the crunchier side, if you prefer a softer crust then this is not the place for you. Booths in this place are clean and comfortable. I appreciate that the seating is made from wood. I can’t speak for the rest of the food options but the pizza is worth trying.

I had a very unpleasant experience with an order from this place. I ordered a small pizza for $12.50, paid $3 for delivery, and left a $1 tip. In total, that small pizza already cost me about $20. When the delivery driver came to my door, he handed me the pizza box with the dollar placed on top. At first, I didn’t understand what was happening, but he explained that he was giving the tip back because the amount was too small for him. I felt very uncomfortable and had to go back inside to get more money and give him an additional $5. He then threw the original dollar into the trash nearby. Very unprofessional and upsetting situation. After this kind of service, I don’t want to order from here again.

Placed a large order of 5 pies (3 cheese, 1 Margherita, and 1 tomato pie) and everything arrived piping hot, which I really appreciated. I didn’t personally try the cheese pies, but the Margherita and the tomato pie were both spot on—great flavor, fresh ingredients, and a nice balance of sauce to crust. This was my first time ordering from Angelo’s, and definitely not my last. Looking forward to trying more from the menu next time.

Been going to Angelo’s my whole life - since the late 80s - and have had some incredible cheesesteaks, pizza etc. but recently I’ve been exploring the Specialty Pizzas section of their menu... and wow! Ordered a half Grandma, half Brooklyn Margarita and as I told the lovely lady who took my order, “it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!”. The mega fries were incredible too. Philmont is lucky to have this neighborhood staple!
