Got the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast “sandwich”, although it was more like a sub 🤣 Absolutely delicious with amazing bread and great service. Give this place a try.

pretty good sandwiches! I got the el italia with chicken cutlet, mozzarella and balsamic. cutlets were perfectly fried and bread was substantial and delicious. I had 2 points of feed back though: 1) it’s a $2 upcharge to add roasted red peppers to a 12” sub. You get about 4 ish peppers total at this cost. I think it’s a little bit of an unnecessary price, considering that the peppers should be required for a sandwich like this. also wish it had basil but i’m just being nitpicky there. I also noticed that in the build your own, every ingredient has an upcharge (including a squirt of mayo or a little bit of lettuce!) 2) the free potato chips were appreciated and the homemade attempt was nice but honestly, they were not good. they were too thick, many were overfried, and lost their crunch a

A Must Try Spot! I had The El Italia and it was amazing. Super crispy fried chicken, fresh NYC-style bread, and the flavors were on point. You can tell everything’s made with care. Big portions too, definitely worth the price. If you’re near in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. This place is fire 🔥

This place is exactly what Austin needed. A nice old-school Italian style sandwich place! Great food, great service and a great taste of Italian culture. Well done!!!
