I’m debating if I’d bring my family back here. Our first visit was GREAT! Our second visit, however, was incredibly unpleasant. Kelly, our waitress, was very helpful at first but when I called her out (nicely) on not refilling the water for us and forgetting to bring utensils, she had an attitude that came with sighs and eye rolls thereafter. I also told her my daughter didn’t like the enchilada dish and to please replace with quesadilla (because she did enjoy that on our first visit), she became argumentative and said that my daughter won’t like that either because it’s the same as the enchilada. I then asked for Mac n cheese and she rolled her eyes and said ok. When the check came, she refused to take off the enchilada and said we ordered it so we had to pay for it. Is it worth losing

Every time we dine at Anejo Nocatee, we leave with full hearts and even fuller stomachs! The Arrachera is absolutely phenomenal and always satisfying. Joanna is hands-down the best waitress we’ve had anywhere. She’s always on point, attentive, friendly, and just overall amazing at what she does. She makes us feel welcome and valued every single time. As locals, we feel lucky to have such a great spot right in our backyard. Whether you’re craving great food or top-tier service, Anejo Nocatee is the place to go.

🌶️⏳ Good food, ok service… and one stuffed pepper I’ll probably dream about 🌯 Dropped into Añejo Cocina Mexicana for lunch while out of town — we were hangry and on a mission. Wait for a table? Kinda long. So we pulled the classic “let’s sit at the bar” move like two seasoned pros. 😎🍻 I ordered the Steak Puebla — grilled steak (solid 👍), plus this fancy little stuffed poblano pepper filled with shrimp, veggies, and good intentions… all topped with a green sauce that looked like it came from a spa. 💅🌿 Was it amazing? Nah. Was it good? Yeah, for sure. I cleaned my plate like someone who forgot they had a meeting in 20 minutes. 🏃‍♂️💼 The food took a while — not “grow a beard” long, but definitely “scroll through the entire menu and learn Spanish” long. ⏳🌮 My friends liked their meals too

Añejo Cocina Mexicana – Nocatee Overall, an okay experience. The complimentary chips and salsa were appreciated (as is customary at many sit-down Mexican restaurants), but the chips tasted commercial and lacked freshness. The burrito was massive—easily filled the entire plate. The person who ordered it only made it through about a third and said it was “just okay.” My enchiladas were decent, though a bit dry, but they were filling. The guacamole on the side was likely the best part of my meal. One person in our group ordered the trio of tacos and said it was the best dish at the table—the tacos looked great. Happy hour specials were underwhelming: $2 off draft beer and house margaritas. When we asked if there were any other specials, our server didn’t mention any. My margarita was so sw
