We had a wonderful experience at Ancla. My wife, our 8 month old baby, and I went for dinner, and everything was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. We both love lomo saltado, so that’s what we ordered. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and simply outstanding. I also had a pisco cocktail, and my wife ordered a margarita, both were fantastic. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we felt very comfortable dining there with our baby. Overall, an amazing experience. Totally recommended!
Chicken was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The beans were basically microwaved and not fresh. The sweet plantains weren’t even sweet; it was hard like rubber. I would highly recommend to avoid this spot. Also the workers had her baby in the back as if the restaurant also acts like a day care; this is not something guests should pay for when entering a restaurant.
bartender is very knowledgeable and makes great drinks. was 4/4 with 10/10 drinks that were all very different types. Also the anticuchos are some of the best ive had. cant go wrong here.
Kiara was great and attended to our every need while we are at Ancla. The food was so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. One of the best tres leches I’ve had! Will be coming back again to taste other dishes from the menu!
I came here to celebrate my father birthday since he requested Peruvian food in particular ceviche. First, to be fair the appetizers were great so I can complain there and would and can only recommend that to any future customers. We had Jalea and that was prepared well with the fish and Juca. I also ordered Papa La Huancaina to try out and the sauce wasn’t so great and lacked that extra kick of spice to it. Now for the main course we ordered Ceviche three different ways. None of this was made in traditional fashion and was to salty and the fish was not cut in cubes as should be but rather fillet into small slices like you would do for sushi. Needless to say none of us finished our plates. The restaurant saw this and asked what was wrong. We explained and they acknowledge that the receipt
