Customer Reviews
Loud environment with multiple monitors playing Bollywood , sports etc. Newly remodeled..Old woodlands location. Staff are junior and learning, not attentive or following up. We ordered masala dosas - regular and Mysore. Food was delectable, but oily. Sambhar was watery. Dosa served with coconut and tomato chutneys besides the watery sambhar. Masala chaas (butter milk) was excellent, but overpriced. The entire menu is over priced for the location. Food took time..Masala chai was over boiled. Banana leaf is fake and water is provided in disposable cups. Not recommended for price, location or taste. You will not die eating here, but may have a stomach ache and increased cholesterol at best 😲
Came here with three friends and wow — I haven’t had South Indian food since I was a kid, but this tasted just like home cooking. Everything was delicious! My favorites were the pani puri, the aloo paratha, and the dosa with potatoes inside — so crispy and perfect. The potatoes were flavorful and slightly spicy —a perfect complement to the light and crispy dosa. I also loved how part of the kitchen is open so you can actually see the chef making your plates. It’s super clean. It’s really convenient being inside the Bites Food Court too. I tried some of my friend’s mango smoothie from the smoothie spot that’s also in TJ food court (so good!) and grabbed Charley’s Cheesesteaks on the way out to bring lunch home for my husband — he approved! Definitely coming back.
Dosas were on point and delicious and so was the Pani Puri were perfect.. very cheap and very tasty.. staff was excellent and share dining area with Charlie sandwiches and a bar but it is no fusion food just authentic deliciousness. Ate all food before taking photos sorry
Velma was very welcoming and helpful, as was the chef. He stopped by our table together our assessment of our meal.
We are at the restaurant and the guy ( called himself SAI) handling the counter is pathetic. He doesn’t want to serve us and if we ask for anything else he would gasp for breath and say “oh fine”. I asked for sugar because the tea didn’t have any sugar and he made a face of disgust and he said I wouldn’t care about a bad review or a bad comment I don’t care at all. And no water served. Didn’t like the attitude and the service whatsoever Not coming again.
