Once I discovered Amorino Georgetown, I knew three things immediately: I had to go, they carried several of my favorite flavors, and it would be an experience. I was right on all counts. Located right near Key Bridge at the corner of 34th & Prospect Streets, Amorino feels like a little European escape tucked into Georgetown. I stopped by in the late afternoon, which meant no crowds and plenty of time to enjoy the moment. Inside, the space is warm and inviting, with a cozy upstairs lounge that feels like a chic living room. There’s ample seating, a restroom, a few board games, and an overall relaxed, polished vibe that makes you want to linger. Luxe, but not stuffy. They offer self-serve ordering kiosks, which makes the process smooth and efficient, especially during busier times. In add
I found this adorable hot chocolate spot while walking through Georgetown, and it was such a pleasant surprise. They have an amazing range of flavors. I tried the gelato—dark chocolate, hazelnut, and tiramisu—and everything was incredibly smooth and delicious. Since it was cold, I went for their hot chocolate next. I was honestly amazed by how many varieties they offered. I usually go for dark chocolate, but I wanted to try something different this time, so I chose the hazelnut. Their signature hot chocolate is a must-try—they even top it with a macaron in any flavor you like. It tasted so authentic and comforting. The place itself is cozy and cute, and I’m already excited to come back in the summer to try more of their gelato. If you’re ever in Georgetown, you should definitely stop by!
OMG, such a fun place! The ice cream roses they make are absolutely beautiful, and there are so many flavors to choose from. I definitely recommend sampling a couple before deciding. You want to make sure you get one you really love. The staff is super friendly and patient, which made the experience even better. It does get pretty busy, so be prepared to wait, but it’s definitely worth it. Just a heads-up: it’s Georgetown, so it’s definitely on the pricey side — I paid $60 for four ice creams… yikes
The lady was so sweet and welcoming! The gelato and desserts were absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Super warm and friendly service. The most delicious all natural gelato. Loved every bite…. The best!!
