Amherst Town Beach

CLOSED during summer/fall 2022 as blue-green algae was in the lake. The beach is just for residents. 8$ entrance for non-residents. you Cannot use the beach if not a local town resident on weekends. Have to pay 8 bucks an adult, 4 for kids. you can see the life guards tall stand but no one was at the beach. Its has a sandy beach, with a playset, picnic tables with charcoal grills close by to sand beach.

Beautiful beach. Make sure you arrive with someone from the town. The beach is just for residents. 8$ entrance. Beautiful and safe to bring kids.

The pavement walking in was all broken. And they didn't put new beach sand. Huge tree roots everywhere. Picnic tables were super uneven. And $20 to enter for 2 people. They need to use the money. To clean up the beach

Quite a nice beach where you can rent boats as well. Scenic and beautiful!!

Super fun and not too expensive to get in for a whole day hanging out at the water. And there's rentals too. We went swimming and saw a huge snapping turtle off the dock. It's a beautiful lake
