Ames Farm Inn

Beautiful location. The cabins are right on the lake. But even if a cabin is not available they have great efficiency apartments just across the street. If you rent one of those you still have access to their private beach and docks. In the summer they have a wonderful restaurant. They have thought of everything with kayak rentals and numerous lawn games that are free. The staff is always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need. We have been going there for 4 years and can’t wait to go back.

This is our third summer staying at Ames Farm. We were so lucky when another innkeeper recommended this place. We stay in a cottage with a million dollar view. Everyone here is so accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing. We look forward to coming here every year, and love how there’s no tv and you can just spend time with family, swimming , reading, relaxing and looking at the view. The restaurant is great and the food is delicious. We always make a reservation since it can get crowded. But even if you don’t have a reservation, they try to fit everyone in. The staff at the restaurant are all friendly and take the time to get to know you. We live this place and can’t wait to come back next summer.

This was our first time here and we loved it. The cottage was adorable and well furnished. It had all the basic essentials such as a coffee maker and microwave. The screened in porch was amazing, and furnished with two chairs and a picnic bench, perfect for morning coffee and a good book. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Went for breakfast at Ames Farm Restaurant and Inn : Such a hidden gem! Small place with big flavor. The breakfast was fresh, affordable, and served with a smile. Perfect spot for a quick, satisfying start to the day

Excellent breakfast! The omelets were large fluffy and stuffed with goodies. Pancake were light and very tasty. Even the coffee was good. Only criticism was that the potatoes were good but not inspiring. Prices were consistent with the area.
