American Hero Subs & Bagels

The staff were friendly and excited that it was my first time there. They helped me choose the classic Philly steak and cheese and it did not disappoint. It was cheesy and flavorful with peppers and onions and I added mushrooms. The bread was fresh and did not overwhelm the sandwich like some places. I added the lettuce and tomato but will not do that next time as the meat and cheese are tasty enough. I will be coming back here the next time I am in the area. Best Philly in the whole area! Especially for the price.

Had a line when I walked in but that didn't bother me at all.. it moved quickly.. young lady was taking 5 orders at a time and didn't skip a beat. Sandwich was cooked quickly then you get to add your choice of toppings and pay.. I had the Philly which was fresh and hot.. Great place serving up great breakfast sandwiches and subs

I ordered a small antipasto. salad. It was literally lettuce with lunch meat on it. I threw it in the trash.It was so nasty. I also ordered two subs not worth the money. This was my first time getting food from this location and it will be my last. I do not recommend this place. You don't get your money's worth.

5 star all the way. If u have not been here you need to go! We'll worth the driver and the wait. We drive 30 min here just to eat and always great! Subs are amazing ans well as the cakes. Highly recommend!

American Hero in Loris, SC is a great hometown restaurant serving salads, hoagies, hero’s, & Philly’s. Fresh cut meat and homemade bread make this a nice option! Fast and personal service that make your sandwich to order. I found the Hero to be a wonderful sandwich. Large portions and side items round out the large menu. Great experience!
