American Cafe

We ordered some fries as a snack to tie us down. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up such a simple order but somehow they surprised me. The fries were straight up black and tasteless and the ones that did have some sort of taste were definitely rotted. There was also no service, only mobile order.

Got quinoa (veggie) burgers with fries for $17/each. Totally hit the spot! Decent enough for amusement park food 😆 Hot and fresh and generous portion of fries. The girls working there were friendly and kept everything cleaned up and replenished. Cute 50’s diner vibe.

Pros: it is not in front of any particular ride, so the line is often shorter than in other spots. The food is decent (chicken tenders were ok, fries a little cold). Folks working there were nice and helpful to use the food/drinks pass when it was not working. Cons: unnecessary long wait in line to wait for the food to come out, though line was short

Great atmosphere which is disproportional to the quality of the food. Got a pretty terrible $8 sub-par milkshake, even by amusement park standards that was 40% sad whipped cream, 30% chocolate syrup.

Chicken tenders are hot but kind of dry. Fries are hot and fried to perfection but the ranch is chunky. This cafe would get another star if they had more to offer. Seems like GA is not serving milkshakes so they have less to maintain. Over all this place makes me feel like I am in a low budget movie where they don’t pay the extras. The longer I think about it I keep wanting to deduct stars. Whoa.. down to one but I will add an extra since the staff was courteous. So two ⭐️ ⭐️ it is.
