I’ve visited Amar India Restaurant North twice, and both times the experience was excellent. The food is consistently flavorful, fresh, and truly authentic. Every dish is well-prepared with the right balance of spices, just like good Indian home-style cooking. The menu offers a great variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The curries, biryanis, and freshly made naan are especially good. Consistency across visits is what really stands out. The staff is friendly and welcoming, service is quick, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. It’s a great spot for family dining as well as casual meals. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Amar Indian Restaurant is a true gem, tucked away in a strip mall—but don’t let the location fool you. The space is clean, inviting, and the staff is always welcoming and incredibly attentive. The food is where Amar really shines. The tikka masala is absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The garlic naan is another standout: freshly prepared with a flaky exterior and a soft, warm center that pairs perfectly with every bite. Every time I’m in town, I make it a point to stop by, and it’s always an excellent experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine and a friendly atmosphere.

My first visit to Amar India was very positive. Service was prompt and friendly. I was particularly fond of the Garlic Nann, Tika Chicken Marsala, the Mushroom Lamb, and the Lamb Biryani. I am definitely keen try more menu items in the future.

3.5 stars for food, which was flavourful. Couple of dishes (Dal Makhani & Shahi Paneer) we tried were ok. Veg Pakora seemed a bit uncooked from inside. Call for spice level 5 if you'd like Indian hot. Portions are ok but expensive for the size (e.g., 20 bucks for 12oz Shahi Paneer is expensive). Will visit again if/when in town.
