Amai Sushi

I had a delicious and delightful lunch at Amai Sushi today. Amber, the owner, took care of me and was very keen to explain items and offer suggestions. The King Salmon hand roll was so flavorful and high quality, I did not 'ruin' it by adding soy sauce. The vegetable tempura was light and fresh. I also had one piece of Toro, so buttery. The food and service were amazing. This is NOT a fast food restaurant...they are thoughtful in presentation and high quality sushi. I will definitely be back soon.

Hands down the best sushi place around. Don’t be afraid of the prices, it’s well worth it. You can taste the freshness. Service can be a little slow when they are busy but they are just making sure it’s perfect. Highly recommend this place if you are a sushi lover.

Loved our visit to Amai Sushi! We ordered goyza, some speciality rolls, and shared the 13-course Omakase. The food was served at a nice slow-pace, which was perfect for us since we were there celebrating a birthday. The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This is best sushi we’ve had in Fairfield County.

Went here for the first time after my fiancé's coworkers told us they had a great omakase experience here. We did the 10 course and lemme tell you, our guy Jerry over there, pure fricken amazing. It was our first time doing omakase and he did not let us down! We will be returning for the 13 course! I TOLD YOU WE WERE COMING BACK JERRY! WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE! Awesome sushi, all new, all awesome. Come on a Sunday night! They aren't as busy then!

Small, out of the way location in Brookfield, CT that is shy on atmosphere but not on high quality ingredients! My favorite sushi restaurant in Connecticut and quite frankly it rates in top 5 of the most delicious, buttery, sushi I’ve ever eaten! The chefs choice nigiri is “chefs kiss” and less expensive than doing the omskase at the chefs counter if you don’t have the time or just want to sit at a table. It is a given that I will at least always order a ramen egg, scallop hand roll, yellowtail hand roll, tuna crispy rice every single time I dine here.
