This is a good spot to get quick, traditional-style Mexican food. I still like the food better here than most of the other local Mexican spots, but it really isn't anything to look at or experience. The food is served on paper plates, even when you dine in, and one might think you could save a little money eating here, but it was $13 for 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans on the side. No chips and salsa, no waiters, and all of the tables were dirty, and I had to ask one to be wiped down before I could sit. But the food is good. I probably won't go back because of the high prices. I know prices are higher everywhere, but this is a little too much for such a basic meal with zero frills.
I order from here all the time and the food is amazing but today I got carne asada fries and they didn't have all the toppings it's supposed to have. So I called and went back and forth with the lady several times because of a language barrier (She didn't speak much english) and I asked if sending a photo would help and instead of answering she hung up. I immediately called back and she declined my call. Amazing food but that's it.
Got bean and cheese burritos from the drive through. We waited in the drive through for an excessive amount of time. The good: The burritos were pretty big for the price. Great portions if you're really hungry or a big eater. The bad: The beans in my bean and cheese burrito were not seasoned at all and were very bland. There was a tiny amount of cheese in my burrito and it was all at one end of the burrito. It was starving, but still felt disappointed.
This was our first visit and we had a good experience. The refried beans were the favorite. We also liked the cheese enchiladas, rice, and burritos. There is a nice salsa bar to add more heat if you want it. We will be back to try some of the other menu items.
Order through the drive-through everything was fine up until I got to the window the lady with the long braided hair, very passive aggressive and mean I had a coupon for a churro and she said it didn’t work so I said oh then can I take off the churro from my order and she said we already made it and I said well I don’t have money for it and she said well we already made it again and was being very passive aggressive and Mean Also, when I got my burrito, it was very much room temperature wasn’t cold, but wasn’t warm either
