Love this place! I am a soup person and I love that they constantly have different options. Everywhere I go it is a variation of green chile (insert name here, stew, etc). Nothing wrong with that but I like variety and could eat soup every day. They have a great rotation. The service is always great. Pictured: veggie 🥘 paella soup The sandwiches are also amazing. Love their version of a bahn mi. Prices are reasonable. I come at least once a week. Highly recommend!

I can't sing this restaurant's praises loud enough. It was a pleasure to eat here for lunch today! We are here for the balloon fiesta and wanted something light but delicious for lunch. The service was superb, the food was amazing, the price was right. The ingredients tasted fresh and homemade, the flavor combos were fresh and paired perfectly. I especially enjoyed the gumbo soup, the pasta salad side, and the freshly squeezed lavender lemonade!

Shop local shoutout! I’m not normally downtown during lunch hour but when I am, I’m heading to Al’s Big Dipper for a sandwich. Fresh food served fast with amazing customer service.

They have the best soups you'll ever have. The sandwiches are no slouch either. I've been taking people here for years and I don't think I've ever had something that wasn't fresh and amazing

Decent food place in Downtown Albuquerque, though a bit pricey. However, if you are "out" of something that comes with the meal, and is priced into the meal, then another option should be made available rather than cheating your customers.
