We recently got back from a trip to Hawaii and were really missing the weather and especially the food. My fiancé found Aloha Cookin and instantly knew we had to make the drive. From the moment he brought the carryout to the car, it smelled so incredible that we couldn’t even wait to get home. He ran back inside for utensils, and we ended up eating it right there in the parking lot, in our truck. Every single dish, side, and appetizer we ordered was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. We would highly recommend Aloha Cookin. It is 100% worth the 45-minute drive. We will definitely be back! 🌺🍍

Wow—I’ll definitely be back next week! ☺️ The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Ordering was easy thanks to their self-service kiosks, which I highly recommend using—there were about eight people waiting, and the team in the back was clearly creating absolute magic. 🪄 Despite the crowd, the wait was quick—about 10 minutes from ordering at the kiosk to having my food in hand. ⏩ I tried the Chili Chicken, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was perfectly sweet and sour, with peppers and onions throughout and sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The rice was the perfect balance to all that spectacular flavor. 🤤🤩 I also loved the macaroni salad and the namasu (cucumber salad)—both were refreshing and delicious additions to the meal. 🥒 Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot

Great food but with limited seating (4 counter seats) plan on doing takeout. Highly recommend what we ordered: loco moco, spam and egg musubi, and the pulled pork rice plate special. We chose macaroni salad as our side and it was so good with the garlic sauce and extra kewpie mayo.

(Edited 2/23 for photos!!) Update 8-16: Visited the new location in Troy and the food is just as delicious! My wife had the honey garlic salmon and I had the Korean chicken. Kids had the teriyaki chicken and short ribs. It's a bit of a drive, but I'll most definitely stop by whenever I'm craving a good plate lunch! ---- Original: So good! My faves are the deluxe poke, chili chicken, garlic butter shrimp, and the bbq plates. I'm always here during a lunch or dinner rush (just my luck), but service has been friendly and the food never takes too long to come out. Great prices, big portions, and excellent food.

Hawaii is my favorite state to visit and the local foods are among my favorites from around the world. Calling this place as Hawaiian is misleading as only a tiny fraction of the menu is represented. Spam & Rice is an example, and with that it’s a localized adaption of mainland dishes interpreted by the locals. In one way it’s very Hawaiian, the fusion that is. A large percentage of population is Asian and many places throughout the islands cater to those taste, just like in Texas you have a lot of Mexican foods. This place is more Japanese & Korean with Hawaiian decor. I will add that the foods are well made and reflect a typical Hawaiian eatery. If you’re looking for the myriad type of Hawaiian roots, slow cooked pork, or leafy dishes, this isn’t the place. I was a little bummed
