Almare Gelato Italiano

This ice cream spot in Gelato offers unique flavors like ube, which I love for its not-so-sweet taste. They also have a variety of gelato flavors and froyo treats for your furry friends. It’s the perfect treat for a hot summer day.

Came here and there was a line after dinner which moved quickly. Great portions. Good price. Very tasty toasted almond with caramelized fig. Also enjoyed the cappuccino which had a potent espresso flavor. The evening was nice for sitting outside.

Gelato here is on, but the lady behind the counter was not very kind. I left a large tip and she still didn't allow my toddler to use the bathroom and he had to go urgently. Fortunately, the Mexican restaurant next door let us use their restroom no questions asked. I bought something from them as a thank you. Also, the display case housing the ice cream at Almare had a small fruit fly. I brought it to their attention and they removed it.

The ice cream is really really tasty, well made! Not too sweet. The flavor range is nice and wide enough. More like European style ice cream, unlike American stile slushy sweet. I can definitely recommend this place. Only minus is that there is no restroom. The clients will have to use the Peet's coffee restroom next door

Almare Gelato Italiano is a delightful spot for a family treat in Pleasanton! We tried the chocolate, coconut, and roasted almond pistachio flavors, and all were creamy and bursting with flavor. They even have vegan options! The location is perfect for ending a meal at Amalfi Italian Restaurant on a sweet note. Highly recommend!
