Allen's New York Pizza

My favorite reviews to write are the ones that hit me in all the right spots emotionally and through every sense. I’ve only been to this specific courtyard a couple of times. Today was special because I finally got to experience Allen’s New York Pizza. I had already made up my mind to try it. My company took me out to lunch at the Pho place right in front of it. But when I caught a glimpse of Allen’s from the corner of my eye, I knew I had to go there. And today... I did. I was determined to get a slice. My heart was in it. As I rushed to find a parking spot, I swear I could smell the pizza from 100 yards away. Or maybe it was just my stomach getting emotional. The vibe felt right…it was Friday, and my excitement was at its peak. We walked into Allen’s. The vibe? Checked. The food? Looked

The pissa was good. I had a margarita and a peperoni slice. Both where great. They asked me if it was for here or to go. I told them to go, they gave me two large slices in a medium size dixy plate covered with foil. With the slices coming our of each end. Mind you they didn't ask me if I wanted the slices separate. But whatever. The service leaves a little to be desired. But the pizza makes up for it.

1st time trying this pizza and we loved it, I was watching my pizza being made with love and it showed in the pizza. Very tasty and delicious.There is also great lunch specials and after 3 pm deal.The Owner such a nice man also. Support our local businesses and give this pizza a try and you won’t be disappointed.

We were BIG fans of the original Allen's Pizza in La Costa, we went there for years!! So we were skeptical that anyone could take the recipe and reproduce it but Seth and his team have done that!! My daughter and I visited last night and the pizza is delicious! We couldn't tell any difference between it and the Allen's from years ago!! I think the best Pizza around!! So glad to have it back it the area!!😋😋😋

It was the greatest pizza and owner was so kind! Best recommend for you guys!
