Ali Baba Restaurant & Cafe

Ordered this at work, and ... I wasn't really feeling it. My review is purely based off my UberEats order, so maybe dining in would be a different story. That being said ... I can't really review ambiance. Not only were the portions kind of "meh" for the price, they just didn't look at all like the menu photos. That alone turned me off, as I chose a lot of the items based off the photos. The taste was also very mediocre for me. I know this place has some really good reviews, so I'm not opposed to re-trying it. However, to be completely honest, it was very lackluster.

Love ali baba!! Great place for turkish food! Open late and serving fresh amazing dishes all night long. You can’t leave until you finish off with the kunefe! it’s amazing :) Fresh house made yogurt and milk!

Part of my order it was a soup when I picked it up. The soup was extremely hot to a point where the packaging broke and made a whole mess and I got burne. I went back to the restaurant. I showed him the picture and my messy car I had to clean it in front of the place. Not only he didn’t apologize he also refused to honor it. It was a white dude blonde looking at the register. The fact that they use cheap fragile material for the food that’s straight up not healthy. I will be contacting my lawyer

It’s a small, cozy restaurant, and I absolutely love their food. Everything on the menu is delicious, and their yogurt drink (a salted fermented yogurt beverage) is amazing. I think it’s fermented. Most importantly, they’re open late, which I love.

I like Ali Baba, but my pickup order yesterday was disappointing. I ordered the Iskender kebab expecting the type with a thin layer of ground/pressed beef, like the one shown in reviews, but instead received sliced meat like doner. The eggplant also did not seem very fresh.
