Another great find in Hoboken. Stopped in for some dinner while in the area. Was able to walk in without a reservation on a Saturday evening walking in a 6pm and only one other table was filled with lots of tables available. Wasn't sure if I was considered an early bird or not, but it was great to be able to sit down without a wait. While a bit empty, there were a few take out orders which is alwaya a good sign. I walked to the destination on a cold winter evening and while soup usually isn't my first choice, the chicken noodle seemed like a great fit to warm me up a bit. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alibaba along side my lady, a delightful Mediterranean restaurant in Hoboken, and I can't emphasize enough how extraordinary our experience was. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped by a soothing ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. I recently ordered takeout from “Ali Baba” and was very disappointed. I paid $24 for a small, basic plate, which in my opinion should not cost more than $15. When placing my order, I clearly requested French fries instead of rice (with no extra charge), but my request was ignored and I received rice anyway. This was frustrating, especially considering the high price. The portion size does not justify the cost, and the price does not even include a drink. In many similar places, similar meals range from $10–$14 and often include a drink. I hope the restaurant improves order accuracy and offers better value for customers. At this time, I cannot recommend this place.

The food was amazing. The server and chef were very friendly, and the chef even offered to combine tables to accommodate us. The atmosphere was okay.

The kebabs are absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Mr. Ali is incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and genuinely helpful. It’s really beautiful to see New York having such good-hearted people like him. The lahmacun was outstanding , crispy, delicious, and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
