Alfred's Restaurant

The menu is really half French and half German. It was very good but by no means the best German food I've had. The potato pancakes were amazing. Hubby had an Old Fashion which he said was excellent, I had an amaretto sour that could have used some more spirits. The slow cooked spare ribs were very tender.

Roast Rack of Lamb was outstanding!!! Best I have ever had. Generous portion too with 8 chops. Also French Onion soup and chocolate cake were both delicious. Wonderful choice for celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary!

My boyfriend and I came here and had a great time! Our dinner was delicious, and our server was excellent. My boyfriend ordered roasted duck - delicious! My halibut was cooked to perfection! Really romantic setting. Very European. Not easy to find good German food! Compliments to the chef! I love a light dessert, and my flourless chocolate mousse was so yummy - especially the crust.

My wife and I had an excellent meal tonight at Alfred's! The German plate with schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerbraten, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes was fantastic! The French Onion soup is one of the best I've had!

We stopped while on vacation to have dinner at Alfred’s. Hands down the best meal we have had our entire trip. Food was fabulous! Sat at the chefs table and not only got a wonderful meal but a great show. It was neat to see the choreography of the chef working and all the little details that go into making our meals. This place is a go to for both visitors and locals alike. I heard a local mention how he loves bringing guests to Alfred’s because the food is always amazing. Staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Will certainly be back.
