This review is LONG overdue as I received my cake in October but I just had to come back to say that we were all absolutely blown away by this cake. Melissa was super helpful and SO talented, we will definitely be ordering all birthday cakes here from now on. It tasted amazing, and our party guests were impressed to say the least. Great job Melissa, we are so grateful for your talent! Thank you for making our son’s birthday so special.

Everyone was very friendly, professional, patient and nice. The selection was very nice and the staff explained everything about which was which. They were also pretty fast too in getting my selection. The desserts were perfect for the bday celebration I was having with a coworker. Looked very pretty and tasted very rich. Would 100% come back. I didn't think I could get NY desserts in Tampa but I found my new spot!

We recently got married and had to place an order for a wedding cake from out of state, sight unseen, no taste testing etc. Ì emailed a few pictures of what ideas I had in mind and they sent me a sketch to approve. Had no idea how it would look in person or taste until the day of the wedding, so very nervous. IT WAS GORGEOUS! We did 3 flavors and everyone loved it! Alessi did an amazing job, highly recommend!

We grabbed a Cuban sandwichat the State Fair today.🌭🇨🇺 Not the worst I’ve ever had—but that bread was so dry it tried to lodge itself in my esophagus like it was paying rent 🥖😬. That said, the mustard-to-mayo ratio was chef’s kiss 👌💛🤍. Overall? Edible, decent balance of flavors, but definitely not a new favorite ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and a drink is mandatory 🥤).

What a great bakery and café! We had a Cuban sandwich and a breakfast sandwich. We also took home some cookies, bread, and pastries. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, sweets and cakes. Update: We went back and tried more things! The turkey club is outstanding! And do yourself a favor and try out the Yoyo cookies. They are ridiculously delicious.
