Alchile Mexican Grill

Driving through South Carolina, we were lucky to find a great Mexican restaurant named Al Chile Mexican Grill in Ridgeland. Warmly greeted by our server, Marcello,Jr., he offered us warm chips and salsa while we enjoyed a cocktail and browsed the menu. Taco salad for my companion and chicken fajitas for me. Both meals were made with fresh ingredients and served with a guacamole salad and rice and beans. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of food to take home. This is a small business that’s doing a great job serving delicious Mexican cuisine. For a Saturday afternoon, it was very busy and that’s a good indication that they treat you right. We came in yesterday to eat on their patio and it was a wonderfully quick experience. We were seated immediately around 230PM. The menu is robust. My wife ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered a chili relleno and burrito. The food came out quick. The house chips were also out quick. The food was tasty and I think well priced. The bathroom was clean as well. Outside was the perfect place to sit. It is covered and decorated in a relaxing manner. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and eat here.

We stopped in while traveling. So glad we did! My husband had the Cali burrito. He was pleased with the portion and the ingredients. I had the Alchile bowl w/steak@ the recommendation of our server. Wow! It was so good! I will be looking for a comparable bowl anytime I have Mexican from now on! They were completely full on Thursday evening yet the service was good. Alchile was a pleasant surprize during our travels!

We stopped in while traveling to Savanah. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Cheese dip was a little bland but still good with the excellent pico. All of our entrees were delicious and plentiful.

Server was nice. Outside eating area was nice. The food how ever was very bland. Not much flavor. Not much meat on the food.
