Customer Reviews
I LOVE that they bake their falafels due to dietary restrictions within the hospital AND the fact that they are conscious about those restrictions.. It's inside the hospital cafeteria so the entrance on Google is the garage entrance into the building, however, if you are just looking to pick up food, your best bet is to enter through the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute Outpatient Clinic on E. 96th, which IS a 1 way as of the moment due to construction 🚧.. There are also side 1 way streets were you can temporarily park if they are available..
Online ordered and was at pickup window at exact time order was said to be ready. Food was already there . The smoothie was made and I walked across the hall up to 6th floor room. Got to the room and immediately noticed there were no utensils which I ordered. No biggie. Grabbed utensils from nurses desk. Food was barely room temperature. Smoothie was half a cup of solid ice cubes. Spent $27 for half a smoothie and cold steak on rice with no utensils.
I've gotten takeout after work a couple times, and a big upside is their wide range of open hours. The service has always been pretty quick, and the food is great! Everything I've tried had the feel of fresh ingredients, and I can't recommend the place enough - especially if you work for or are passing through the Cleveland Clinic!
If you're expecting Aladdin's normal level of quality, you will be disappointed. I should have taken a picture of the soup, but it would have been difficult to capture it's blandness in a photo. Here is my burned chicken schwarma, and my wife's sandwich. It was like a poorly made sloppy Joe with a fancy middle eastern name.
4.5⭐️ Best food in Cleveland Clinic that I ate over the many days there. Love Genie’s platter. Had the paleo plate one day and it was good but not as good as Genie’s. Love the variety and esp the cauliflower and turnips on the Genie’s platter. Only complaint would be it could have more chicken. One of the 3 times I got it they did seem to put more but only once. See the pictures to compare.
