Al Jazeera Restaurant

My mom and I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood, and I’m so glad we did because we stumbled upon this hidden gem! This cute Yemeni spot in Falls Church offers fantastic customer service. We ordered the lamb over rice with a side of soup and were eager to try it at home. It exceeded our expectations! The rice was fluffy and bursting with flavor, the lamb was incredibly tender and delicious, and the soup was packed with flavor. Plus, the portions were more than generous. I immediately told my friends about this place,I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food in this establishment is delicious. It is a casual environment, nothing fancy, but the food is made with love. I have been visiting this place for 3 years now and I never been disappointed.

First of all this restaurant was out of business for like 3 years or maybe more. But now they came back with the original owner managing the place himself. Al Jazeera restaurant comes as number “1” on my list if I want to eat authentic Yemeni food. I go there to eat Haneeth or Haneez whatever you like to call it. Also I love their Mandy. Also the produce unique fried fish “The whole fish”. My advise is to give it a tray and you will see what I am talking about. BTA Prices are reasonable and portions are great.

To be honest the food is excellent and the portions were good enough to feed hungry stomach , service was okay, price was a bit high when it comes to the setup could be better small place and needs a little cleaning entirely, i don’t know how the kitchen looks like, but the bathrooms the dining are is a little filthy, the tables were wet and sticky need to be cleaned or washed. I don’t think I will go back again.

Very tasty Hanif Lamb! (Lamb and Rice) if you catch them when their not busy, the food is really good. If it's packed, their will be delays and don't expect superior customer service. You will need to be very patient. Update: The restaurant was closed for like 3 years but it's back open and delicious!!! Their back. Go!!
