Customer Reviews
Al Aqsa Michigan is truly a gem in our community! The place is always clean, welcoming, and filled with friendly people who genuinely care about providing great service. The atmosphere is peaceful and respectful, making it a perfect spot for families and anyone looking for authentic south Asian products and hospitality. Their food (and/or groceries) are always fresh and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality. The staff go above and beyond to make sure every customer feels valued and satisfied. It’s rare to find a place that combines great service, cultural warmth, and excellent quality like Al Aqsa does. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal, shopping for halal groceries, or visiting for community gatherings, Al Aqsa Michigan is an outstanding place that makes you feel right a
Authentic Bangladeshi flavors shine through an impressive variety of dishes, from rich and aromatic Tehari and Biriyani to comforting fish curry, flavorful vorta, and a wide selection of traditional sweets that truly capture the taste of home. Every item feels carefully prepared with the right balance of spices and freshness. To top it all off, the tea is exceptional—fragrant, soothing, and the perfect way to finish the meal.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I’ve bought groceries here a few times, but my last visit was absolutely unacceptable. Frozen food had visible mold growing on it, and I have photos to prove it. This shows a serious lack of proper food handling and storage. This is a major health risk. Many items appear expired or already molding, which is extremely dangerous for customers. The health department really needs to inspect this place, and honestly, it shouldn’t be allowed to operate like this. Do not waste your money or risk your health here. Take your business elsewhere.
I bought some Bhundia a few days ago. It was an absolute mess. What kind of boondi was that? And the taste was awful! Don't they even check what kind of product they're selling? I am very disappointed.
