I had a really disappointing experience here today. As a Guyanese woman, I hate leaving bad reviews for my fellow Guyanese people, but the service left me no choice. A light-skinned lady checked me out when I bought chicken fried rice along with a couple of other items, but I had to wait for the fried rice to be ready. While waiting — which took over 20 minutes — I took out a cream soda that I had already paid for and started drinking it. When my food was finally ready, she asked me, “Did you pay for the cream soda?” I told her yes and showed her my receipt. She actually looked at it and said, “I just wanted to see.” It was such a strange and uncomfortable moment, especially since she was the same person who rang me up. Your service is horrible. Be aware apparently there is a difference in chinese fried rice and fried rice from this place. When I called to order the young lady said the difference is egg. Food comes out with 3 pices of chicken and plain fired rice with no sauce or vegetables. Appently there is much more of a difference than just eggs. Typically when you call a west indian restaurant to order fried rice you specify chicken, beef, shrimp etc never chinese or regular lol. When I asked how we can correct this the girl said nothing can be done I already paid. I was willing to pay the difference BTW. NEVER AGAIN...I will drive to queens if I have to.

Traveled all the way from PA to find this Gem. Had their fried snapper, peppershrimp, snapper curry, Chinese fried rice and fruit cake. It was the best I had since I left Guyana. A Guyanese place I would recommend for high quality food. Also bought lots of snacks and groceries. This place is unique. A one stop shop.

I recently ordered a cake from this place and unfortunately, it was quite salty and under cooked. I was really looking forward to enjoy it, but it didn't turn out as expected. Additionally the owner was rude and unhelpful when I raised my concerns, which was disappointing. I hope this place can improve on their recipe and owner should take a 101 on customer service. Reading a few reviews from here, he always blame his customer and accused them of wanting free stuff.

Excellent customer service , affordable price, Generous portion size. The food is always fantastic, no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! The menu is extensive & they cater. The store is neatly packed, prices are listed so you know what you’re paying for, and inventory is very good in variety. I found spices/ingredients, juices, fish, vegetables etc. I highly recommend this welcoming environment. Update- Added few photos of my recent order. Absolutely delicious!
