Do you Bento!? We had a fabulous dinner at Akoya Kitchen last night. I opted for the Bento box with a California roll, Michele had the Bento box with the special salmon roll. Both fresh and delicious. Akoya is a very clean and spacious restaurant. Order at the counter and wait for your guest pager to light up.

The hibachi is the only thing good we had. I ordered two sushi and they got one entirely wrong: the smoked salmon was supposed to be a regular salmon but instead was the smoked one and I hit a random pocket of salt in my second piece. The second kind was a spicy tuna and it tasted like they put straight siracha on in. The gyoza tasted like they went straight from the freezer into the fryer. The yumyum salad is just coleslaw greens with yumyum sauce. Terrible experience except for a cool atmosphere and acceptable hibachi.

Would absolutely come back here. It stood out to me how spotless and clean this place is. There is not a speck of dust in sight which speaks to their standards. The staff is very kind and the food is delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered sushi, a bento box, and hibachi. The hibachi was large enough for two meals for me and all of the servings were generous. Highly recommend

First time going to this place and I can say I liked it! Like that it’s walking distance to me, staff was friendly enough, service was quick, restaurant looked clean and nice with a patio area. Only negative it does stay open late would be a nice spot for a happy hour.
