I came in around 7 PM with my two-year-old, and right from the start, the service was very poor. When we walked in, the lady barely acknowledged us — she just said “sit wherever” without even looking up. Once we sat down, she didn’t come to our table but called out from the other side of the belt asking what we wanted to drink. I asked for water and a small cup for my daughter, but she never brought it. Throughout our visit, she seemed completely uninterested and was on her phone most of the time. even while bringing food. When our food arrived, she just set it down quickly and walked away without checking on us. We didn’t get basic things like soy sauce, ginger, Sriracha, or sweet-and-sour sauce for our egg rolls, and her attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing her. It’s hard

So this is what “3 CALAMARI” look like when you order on the phone. And oh does it say “3 2oz SPICY MAYO SAUCES”?? I have been coming to the restaurant for about 9 years now but I will find a new sushi restaurant to go to. Because I pay good money and tip for what? Also I had specifically said not to have the ginger and wasabi and we had to fish that out ourselves as well. I will not be coming here for some time now.

Great prices lots of choices to pick from I mean a lot the Cabrera belt was very not too fast but good enough we're not waiting too long cuz all the way around the restaurant I came in loving the vibe in this restaurant and very good service fast pay attention to you right when you come in and serve you your drinks right away to you. recommend the sushi restaurant scrape for friends and family. Having spent 15 years in Japan, my expectations for stateside sushi is not high, I generally expect overpriced and underwhelming. However, my visit to Akira sushi flipped that script! First off, the rice was moist and tasteful. Sounds basic but so many places fail at that. Second, the fish was decidedly fresh with good portions and a good selection just straight from the belt with more options on request - except nattou which I really would like to see added. Of note was the Calimari; this was some of the most tasteful, juicy and tender that I have had in a long time. Overall, the service was cheerful and the interior is spacious.
