AKAMI sushi & grill

Wow! What a unique, incredible sushi and grill!! Super clean, super nice decor, modern and not tacky. They have a bar and a sushi bar! Loads of soft seating, and even these private booths with shades from the rest of the restaurant - very cool. Now the food - exceptional! We ordered 2 spicy tuna hand rolls, a Cali roll and these awesome sushi sandwiches, which were a hit! 😍 My boyfriend loved them! And the presentation was everything! I have never seen sushi come out like this before, I almost don't want to ruin the surprise... But I took some pictures, duh! We also order a chicken habichi plate. Which came with soup, ginger salad, veggies, rice and delicious, fresh chicken. Great food portions! Great prices, sushi prices were great! Service was on point, she was awesome 🎉 this place is

This place is absolute perfection. I have never had a bad meal. The presentation is top notch and the service is impeccable. The sushi is some of the best I have ever ate and the quality is a 10 out of 10 across the board. So grateful to have this place so close to home. If you want a wonderful meal, in a great atmosphere and great service… this is your place!

Our family of 6 came here last minute on Sunday and all agreed this place is a 10/10 and we WILL be back! Our waitress, Eva, was possibly the best waitress I have ever met. She was not only kind and polite, but was quick with service and refills, very knowledgeable on the menu. The food was incredible - I’ve eaten a lot of sushi over the years, but this us the best I have ever had. The quality of everything was superb. We ordered the Calamari, Fried Gyoza, Shrimp Shumai, and Crab Wontons as our appetizers and wre blown away by all of them! I ordered the Angry Dragon roll and Chicken Katsu for my Entree and enjoyed every bite. The inside if the restaurant is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We’ve been several times, The sushi is always fresh. The service is great. The people are very friendly and the presentation for the dinner Sushi platters is unbeatable. I highly recommend their Sexy Jalapeño appetizer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They had just opened this location a couple of weeks ago and hasn't had a lot of advertising BUT it should definitely be on the map! The service was excellent, the ambiance was fun and bright but the music was odd. Straight up rap music was a bit strange but it was definitely...entertaining? Now, on to the food. They have a wide range of sushi to choose from as well as an hibachi menu. The food was excellent. Freshly made sushi by a sushi chef and it didn't take forever. The prices are excellent as well. They have quite a bit to choose from and if you go at lunch they have smaller portions if you want. I will definitely be coming back!
