Wow! I had their steamed burger, it was really good and the fries were great too. I also had the seafood roll which was OK, just needed some extra flavor I was expecting a little sweeter of a zing but overall a great experience! The service was very good. The blond waitress was very accommodating, even though I didn’t want to sit with my coworkers she insisted on me moving a chair with their table but I was happy where I was. I had to ask for extra ketchup which she acquired for me stealthily, the atmosphere was very interesting and I witnessed what appeared to be locals who just got done from a hard days work, as had I. I’m very happy and pleased to say that I wondered into “AJ’s Oasis cafe’ “ four years ago in Meriden Ct. It was like walking onto that TV show “Cheers” where their saying was come on in and meet your friends. Well, that was so true here too, and I have been visiting this establishment frequently ever since. A place that makes you feel welcomed as you walk in, with a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The food is amazing and every plate from wings to a steak dinner is professionally plated. I have to say the bartender, waitresses and the cooks are always so friendly. Newer bartenders are younger and very good and friendly, but I very much like to keep our older bartenders like Lori who knows the area longer, remembers the history of our city and treats us the older crowd with a littl

I went here because I heard of their great seafood..., when I got there, I was impressed with the atmosphere, just a bunch of people enjoying life. I ended up getting the Mexican Street Corn and the fried artichoke hearts. The Street corn was hot, fresh and plump, so very good. The fried artichoke hearts were the best I've ever had with an outstanding dipping sauce. The 6" personal pan pizza had an incredible crust and everything else was perfect. Go here when you get a chance.

Simply amazing meal for lunch. Hit the spot and tasted excellent. Keep doing what you do. Definitely recommend for anyone that needs a hearty meal.
