Aji Ramen

We used to come here when it was the Budai chinese restaurant, so it was interesting to see the changes made to be Aji Ramen - the interior has been transformed into a beautiful modern Japanese-esque aesthetic- with tiled floors, soft lighting in the open floorplan style with the sushi bar in the corner. The chairs are super comfortable - The food came out super fast. We came wanting to try the ramen - husband tried the cheesy katsu ramen - the broth was good, he said the katsu held up in crispness. I tried the spicy tonkatsu ramen - now usually I don't drink the broth/finish the whole bowl of ramen anywhere - but I was slurping that bad boy up! The noodles were great, the broth was amazing. Food was great! I especially loved the chicken mushroom ramen. Yaki udon was amazing, dumplings were good. All around good stuff. Only complaint would be the sushi rolls could be larger. Definitely recommend though. We will be back!

I usually don't give 5 stars unless I'm blown away with the food and service. With that being said if I were to rate this restaurant off the spicy miso ramen bowl alone I would definitely give it 5 stars, it's delicious and I already can't wait to return. But I did have some criticism for the egg rolls , I wasn't a fan, they didn't have much flavor the Chile sauce makes it better but I wouldn't order again. We also ordered gyoza which were very yummy and I'll probably always order, my only issue was that this visit they were kinda cold but the egg rolls were piping hot so I'm thinking they cooked the gyoza 1st and they cooled while the egg rolls were being cooked. 🤔 This visit we felt that the servers weren't as attentive as our last visits , and we felt little rushed. i ordered spicy chicken miso ramen and we all shared 2 different kinds of sushi. i don't remember the names of them but they were yummy! def recommend this place. good service, chill place.

We tried out Aji when they opened. It did not disappoint. I got the Black Garlic Ramen. The broth was very tasty and flavorful. The noodles were substantial and had a great bounce and texture to them. The chashu pork was almost all meat and was seared giving it extra dimension to the flavor. The fish cakes were thick and you could actually taste them, very nice. The bamboo was soft and perfectly chewable, not tough and stringing like I've had before. I did ask for and added some chili oil to mine and their oil is very good. We only tried the ramen, but saw some of the other patrons ordered some very fresh looking and beautiful sushi. I will say this ramen made me full like no other I've had. I usually get an appetizer when I go to other places, but for me, none was needed here. The staf
