Not at all busy on a Friday at noon. Pricey food as one might expect at this hotel. And a pricing mistake on the bill and missing menu option led me to a little downranking. Yummy Croc Monsieur. Tiny little "cheesecake" encased in brittle pistachio shell that kids might like. Lots of lemon topping, tastes more like key lime pie than anything to me. Fabulous huge asparagus spears. Free valet parking with lunch 😊 Lovely to wander around the hotel also.
The breakfast of champions. I was worried the portions would be small since it’s very upscale. Nope. And they were not skimpy with the condiments either. Food was phenomenal, came out very quickly which was much appreciated since we showed up with our suitcases airport bound. Probably best yogurt parfait I’ve ever had.
Discovering Ajax for our Sunday brunch was a delightful experience! Located in the new, vibrant Limelight hotel, the restaurant boasts a modern, bright, and warm decor that instantly uplifts the spirit. The service, thanks to Sam, made us feel genuinely welcomed. The highlight, of course, was the kitchen—a pleasant surprise indeed! As someone who often finds “steak and eggs” disappointing in the U.S., I was thrilled by the perfectly cooked ribeye, accompanied by crunchy vegetables and a delicate hollandaise sauce (which was added after I took the picture of my plate). For those who, like me, prefer to skip the carbs (and so, breakfast potatoes), the rest of the plate is more than satisfying. The pricing was also pleasantly surprising. I’m sure this new restaurant is going to become a must-
New restaurant in a new, modern hotel. We enjoyed the service, cocktails, and the fries - and the Hamachi Crudo was the standout. The kids loved the cod. We also had the Bolognese (ok) and the the cauliflower au gratin (pretty good). Parking seems to be relatively non existent so we used valet. Will be back to check out.
Cami was a so great! I ate and drank at the lobby bar on Wednesday and she was so sweet and funny. We had such a great time. We had the tuna tartare and an aperol drink! GREAT recommendations! We will be back!
