Airway Restaurant

Diner located in a strip mall. We ate there on a late Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was empty at that time and there were no other dine in customers during our visit. The menu is extensive with lots of options. I ordered the fried appetizer (15.95) which was three chicken strips, three onion rings, three mozzarella sticks and three stuffed jalapeño peppers. All of the items were obviously frozen and similar to what you can purchase at any supermarket so I will not recommend. Pricey at $15.95 as well. My husband ordered cheesy garlic bread which he said was very good. For my entree, I ordered one of the day’s specials: Shepherd’s Pie (11.95). I absolutely love Airway. I have lived in Windsor Locks for nearly a decade, and have tried so many different dishes on the menu. They are always absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the avocado salad! <3

This was our "New place" pick for Breakfast. Waitress was great- polite and attentive. The food was attractive and tasted great. The blueberry pancakes were very tasty. Dine in atmosphere was quiet and plain. I do have to point out that the menu you see online is Not the same as we had today. Be prepared prices are double now. It was a $50.‐ dollar bill for 2 of us.

This is my new favorite breakfast place. My husband and I went there while waiting for the Post Office to open. I love the way the menu is set up. The eggs are like a chart. So you have one egg, 2 egg or 3 eggs across the top, and then you have the meats going down the side. You can pick any combination. I always order 3 eggs, but the third one is always like an extra egg. And here it's actually on the menu, and it's a reasonable price. And, I ordered my eggs over medium and they were. I rarely get my eggs the way I order them. Also, the number of sides they have available. If you don't eat potatoes, there's more than just home fries. We ordered takeout because the front desk recommended the Airway, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! The service was speedy and the chicken soup, the salad, and the BLT was awesome! Highly recommend this place!
