This place is hands down one of the best places for Matcha. I was recommended this place by so many friends and right they were! I only ordered the Einspanner matcha and the Ube Matcha. The Einspanner was the best I have ever had--with a thorough, robust matcha flavor. It is obvious that the matcha is pure and high quality. The crème that tops the Einspanner is also finely crafted--sweet, and fluffy in texture. When stirred the drink makes a great, almost pleasantly addictive mixture. The Ube was also a good drink, especially since the Ube also tasted very authentic and un-compromised. Delicious matcha and great customer service! When I got up to the counter I still hadn't decided on my order so I asked the worker for a recommendation between the matcha pandan and einspanner. She let me know the einspanner was the less sweet of the two, so I went with the einspanner. The einspanner was delicious, super creamy, but a touch too sweet for my taste. They have some tables, chairs, and outlets but if recommend arriving early if you want a table. I arrived just before noon on a Saturday and every table was already taken

was not expecting this pandan-matcha alliance to actually work; the pandan brings a nutty-vanilla sweetness to the matcha's bright grassy edge in a silky blend, but the matcha does kinda take over after the first couple sips. and side note, my friend's ube matcha looks hella yuck but the tastes were spot-on across the board 🥳

Just visited Airoma’s second store in Garden Grove and it’s a matcha lover’s dream come true. More room to vibe, same iconic flavor. My go-to? Matcha Einspanner & Double Matcha—still undefeated. I’ve traveled to Japan many times, and this matcha is the closest I’ve found to what I had there. The matcha here is consistent. I always ask for less ice and they literally give you a cup of ice! Please actually do the adjustment if you’re going to allow customer requests.
