Agaves Mexican Grill

It was pretty much the only thing near our hotel besides McDonalds. Spent a whole day at Holiday World and we needed food. Service was fine food was decent. Drinks were great. Chips and salsa were ok. A decent place to eat right off Highway 64.

Yum yum yum! Never know what to expect from a Mexican place in the middle of nowhere but this place didn’t disappoint. I had the arroz con pollo- sooo good I ate the whole thing even though I wasn’t super hungry. My husband enjoyed his chimichanga and we both loved the pitchers of strawberry margarita- the half pitcher is what’s shown and was about 4 drinks (2 each). My kids shared the kids chicken nuggets- there were only 5 but they didn’t finish them since they weren’t hungry. Chips were pretty good, not the best I’ve had, but not bad. Guac maybe a 3.5/5. Good service. Decent prices. Clean. Well kept. Nice decor.

Prices are average. Chips n salsa are okay. Salsa has an ortega taco sauce flavor to it. Food was okay. Portions were pretty good. Service was awesome. The waiter was really nice. I'd try this place again.

Food came out way too fast. Almost felt like they wanted to get me out of there fast because I didn’t fit the demographic of their usual clients. The chicken and steak in my fajita looked like scraps. Server was semi nice, girl that dropped the food off didn’t say a word,

We decided to find a late dinner at around 9pm we were in the area and we decided to stop in. We didn't have to wait once we arrived and my kiddos ask to sit outside since it was a nice evening. Chips and Sala was brought out immediately! The chips were warm the salsa was not bad to me but the kiddos really loved it. Our server took our drink orders within about 5-8 min. of being set at our table. About another 5 min. went by and he took our food orders. Less than 10 minutes our food was brought to us hot and ready to dig in!! Food was great and had plenty of flavor, our server was top notch! If we're in the area this will be another great stop to come to!!
