I don’t live in the area but I was curious about this new spot since I love Nigerian food. I’m glad I gave it a try! Her food is fresh and tasty. Definitely will keep ordering when we are in the area!

The egusi soup/pounded yam and yam porridge are exactly as advertised in the images, but more than that, very tasty and flavorful. The food is a 100% one of the best I have had at home (naija) and abroad. It is a 1000% authically Nigerian.

I spoke with the owner yesterday and confirmed that they would be open. I explained that I was bringing my husband for his birthday today. We drove 40 minutes to this restaurant just to see that I was lied to on such a special day. I am so upset and I really wanted my husband to eat authentic Nigerian food….. I would not patronize restaurants that do not consider their customers.

Great jollof and egusi soup, and the portions were good too! Got it with fish and chicken and they were really flavorful and delicious. Spicy level wasn’t too bad either, I could really feel it but I could still taste all the flavors and it wasn’t numbing like Chinese hot pot. Note - We weren’t sure if they were open, had to ring the digital bell on the door frame a couple times but glad we did because the food was fantastic.

Hefty delicious portions, called for pick up and took about 90 minutes, well worth the wait!
