African Small Pot

so i came here yesterday 1/6/26 on a Tuesday for take out, i had the pepper soup and fufu and it was soo good i came back today 1/7/26 and i tried the peanut butter soup or peanut sauce with the lamb onions and yellow rice, it was soo good as well, lamb was seasoned to perfection and crispy like i like it and the Shaykh was very friendly and hospitable. he gave us recipes and talked to us as we ate. oh and the ginger juice was good too,, not over powering like some African eateries but still good, i would def come here again.

Well if you're craving African at 9am they've got you covered! Ordered peanut butter soup, fu fu, and lamb and regular rice. The portions were ample we had enough for leftovers.

It was my first time me and my husband and my daughter we came in to try the food. It was amazing. Best experience ever so much flavor. Recommend this place 100% The owner is very nice , and clean place .

I had fried red snapper with jollof rice, cassava leaf, and fried plantains today and it was so good. The snapper was crispy on the outside and seasoned really well. The jollof rice had a nice flavor and paired perfectly with the fish. The cassava leaf was rich and comforting, especially with the fish inside it. The plantains were sweet and soft, which balanced everything out. My husband had the lamb and he absolutely loved it. He said it was really flavorful and cooked perfectly. Pops was also so welcoming and made the experience even better. Honestly I didn’t even get a picture of the food because I was so hungry lol, but that should tell you how good it was. Overall it was a really satisfying meal and full of flavor. Definitely a 10/10 for me!

This is by far the best ever food you’ll ever have in your life. Everything is always fresh and cook to perfection always leaving me full and satisfied thank you so much African small pot!
