My husband had a Calzone here at one time and he loved it! Tonight, he brought me and the kids. We ordered the Classic (the one with Margherita in the menu) pizza, requested to just add Canadian bacon to it, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I love pizza and when I say this is great, best believe it! Hands down the BEST pizza in Springfield and in the whole Southwest. 🤩 It's hard to explain but it wasn't heavy on the tummy. The dough was perfect, marinara sauce was fresh, and the cheese pull was chef's kiss. Speaking of the chef...owner came out to greet us. He seemed friendly and polite. You could tell from his aura that he knows what he's doing and he's not here to play with your food. He knows his craft very well. Mary, the server, was just as nice! 🇮🇹 The pizza was excellent — a perfectly baked crust that was light and airy with just the right crisp on the outside. The sauce tasted fresh and balanced, and the pepperoni had those little crispy cups full of flavor. The fresh basil on top made it even better and gave it that authentic Italian touch. Everything tasted simple, fresh, and high quality — just the way great pizza should be.

After Fat Cat pizza changed ownership, me and my friends were really dissatisfied and disappointed with the food and service. After the ownership changed, the new owners weren’t professional, the customer service lacked, and the food quality had gone down hill. I was scrolling through Facebook and realized that the owner ship had changed once more (not shocked fat cat didn’t last with the new owners). My friends and I decided to give it a try and were met with great service, great food, and with the intention of wanting to return. Love this place and the pizza they make. I had a party and get together at my house and ordered 3 pizzas to go because my friends and I enjoyed it so much. Great pizza and looking forward to returning!

This place was amazing! Greeted as soon as we walked in. The pizza reminded me of our trip to Italy. It was so similar we were going through or pictures as we waited for our delicious pizzas! 100% recommend the 1886 Margarita pizza if you want the closest taste of Italy in Missouri.

This is the old Fat Cat Pizza, but the food is not the same. It's better. The original FCP was wonderful until they changed hands and wouldn’t honor the prior owners’ gift cards, so we never went back. As regulars it was a slap in the face. I begrudgingly went in with friends who wanted to try out the new place, fearing that it may be the same owners. It wasn’t. The pizza was excellent and, surprisingly better than the original FCP. This is a great start. Seriously, I try every pizza place in and around Springfield, and you nailed it. This is the best so far. Bravo for keeping the quality outstanding. I will be back for sure! There are just a few recommendations I’d make. First, the place was cold inside. That will turn off customers and there is no need for that. They need more awarenes
