The purpose of lumpers is to speed up the cargo handling and save everyone time and money. I got there 1 hour before my appointment time, and they took 4 hours to unload me. Then, I was charged a $548.62 lumper fee. How is this efficient?

When you arrive park before the gate, and go to receiving office , check in and go back up to the dock assigned, backing can be tricky if all docks are occupied, then go back inside and talk to lumper guys, pay the fees, and wait for the paperwork . I came here with a full 53’ live unload, appointment at 11:00 i arrived at 10:35, checked in and got a dock right away unloading started at 11:30, paid the lumper fee and i was out of the gate by 13:00 paper in hand ,

1 star because 0 is not available, Truck at delivery from 8 am not empty yet IT'S 3 PM . But charging $400 for lumper is not an issue for these guys! AVOID !!!

This place is beyond me as a truck driver plz be aware you will sit n sit until they are done counting n unloading. This place would be better if they had the right type of motivation and character. Can’t believe they get upset at you for being early 🤣. But yet you can get here extra early just to wait beyond your time and some. All you gonna be doing is waiting until they want to come get you done. So truck drivers beware before accepting a load here
