Achilitos Taqueria - Jamaica Plain

Better than those chain restaurants out there. Really good and fresh food. Fast service as well. Plenty of choices including birria tacos and pupusas. They also have a wide variety of drinks, my favorite is their horchata. And they have desserts like tres leches, red velvet cake, and flan. They also have chilli mango slices. Staff is really helpful and answered all my questions.

Very clean, swift taking the order, as well as preparing. Order was 100% correct nothing missing or wrong in the order. I have a picky eater or two and everyone really enjoyed their food, Nothing went to waste so definitely recommend. The photos I included is only half of what we ordered. We ordered a pretty good amount of items and still there are so many other dish options available including vegetarian.

We have been getting take out and delivery from achilitos for a few years now in my household, and they’ve been our preferred spot for some time. The shrimp burritos are our go-to orders. Recently we’ve been disappointed, as the shrimp portion size has scaled down noticeably from the previous ~5-6 shrimps per order to 3..(THREE!!!) shrimps in each of our burritos. For a $17+ burrito (“regular” size) this is so disappointing and feels like highway robbery. If these portions are the new norm, we will switch to chilacates and los amigos for our burrito fix.

Killer spot. Dropped in from out of town, asked for their recommendation and they set me up with California chicken bowl. 10/10 recommend. Great house hot sauce. Great flavors. Chipotle could NEVER. I was surprised how few people came in and out. Y’all are missing out!

Shrimp tacos are amazing! Grilled shrimp burrito is yummy! Big perfectly cooked shrimp! The maduros are picked at optimal ripened! The horchata is refreshing and gives off positive energy! The tamarind juice makes you feel like you're on vacay! Clean seating area! First time here won't be my last!
