Ace Hardware

Ordered a can of paint in Essex Green. Picked it up, brought it home, just a white, unmixed can of white paint. I live 45 minutes away in the middle of the country.

Literally such bad customer service. Needed a key made for my car. Told me to come back at 9 as the guy would be in to do it. I show back up and the first guy I talked to didn’t even have the decency to make the other guy aware that someone was coming in at 9 for him. Also disregarded my questions and walked away. And told me I couldn’t be helped for another hour. Don’t tell someone to come in at a time and then refuse them the service because you didn’t do your part for your job.

We camp not far from town, no matter what needs to be repaired on the camper, this is where I start. They are helpful and have directed me to what I need, not what the need to sell, even if it's just s nut, bolt and washer.

This review goes out to Owen. He went above and beyond! We recently bought a new camper and ran into some lighting issues. We had to run to Ace and find a quick solution as time was ticking to sunset, store closing, and still a 2 hour drive home. Owen was so gracious to help us assemble this light kit, found us the tools we needed, helped us come up with a solution and even brought us a snack after spending so much time trying to get this all put together. He was so kind to us. Please recognize him and give him a big thanks on our behalf!!

Very helpful staff. Clearance section was awesome. I needed a very specific Stihl Chainsaw bar. They found it quickly and had it on order before I left the store. Thanks Ace team.
