Abuelos Mexican Kitchen and Cantina

I came here with my co-workers! The food is amazing! I usually would order tacos; however I wanted to be a bit adventurous. So, I ordered the fajita taco salad. It did not disappoint! (See photo). The seasoning was just right. The service was unforgettable. The young man was at our table constantly refilling glasses, taking orders, serving extra chips, salsa and brought us fresh guacamole. The ambiance was a little rustic and charming altogether. It was spacious with music that fit the culture.

This place is very cozy. Greeted warmly by both hosts upon entry. Very friendly and efficient. Food was good - Texas queso, enchiladas, Shrimp Diablo and one of the steak dishes. Outside of our server, the staff was extremely friendly. Bartender greeted many with hugs or familiar handshakes. Other servers continually (without being intrusive) if we had everything we needed. Our server, however was not good. He was a terrible listener, and he continued to rush away from table without filling requests. Order was wrong rang into to system incorrectly but wasn’t a big deal. Will try again in hopes we have a different server, as the rest of the staff was friendly, efficient and seems to really enjoy their jobs. They do charge a 3% fee for using credit card. We enjoyed a quick lunch at 2 pm after traveling to see family in the area. The salsa was smooth with more of a tomato taste. We had chicken enchiladas. They came to the table with 2 sauces, green and red. It was good. The beans were served in a bowl. The rice was also very good! The location is tucked into a strip mall with a Publix grocery store. Thank you!

Delicious and authentic!! Some of the best Mexican I've ever had. 10/10 can't wait to come back.

Ordered the Fajita Taco Salad withj Steak to go. So, opened the to-go box. Taco Shell, 4 beans, literally, steak, peppers, onions and tomatoes plus a small container of Sour cream. No house queso, NO Cheese, NO pico de gallo. Just a bunch of lettuce with the steak, peppers, onions and tomatoes on top in a taco shell. And such a bargain! $20.99. Definitely not ordering take out from them again.
