I brought my mother here today to try Shawarma for the first time. Our experience was absolutely wonderful and every menu item was explained thoroughly! My mother is a picky eater but even she was blown away by how delicious the chicken and beef shawarma was. I wasn’t able to get his name, but the cashier was so kind and accommodating in explaining the ingredients. I’d recommend Abu Omar to every person hesitating on trying something new. It’s was a truly wonderful experience.

The man who helped me with my order was kind and reasonable. I had an issue with one of my items and he very graciously remade the food and issued a refund. The food is good but a bit pricy. But the customer service is top notch. Would recommend it for anyone in the area, I believe they have branches as well. They’re open quite late at night as well!

I’ve always enjoyed ordering from the Abu Omar food truck, their shawarma, fries, and wraps are always packed with flavor and cooked just right. Recently, I found out they opened a restaurant, and I was impressed. The place is very clean and welcoming. The food quality is just as great as the truck, and the service is quick and friendly. If you’ve tried the food truck, you’ll love the restaurant. And if you haven’t tried either yet — you’re missing out!

Abu Omar in Katy is a great spot for quick Middle Eastern fast food, especially when you’re out late. They’re open late, which makes it super convenient, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and filling. Portions are generous, and everything comes out hot and well-seasoned. Service is fast and friendly, and it’s perfect when you want something better than typical fast food without the wait. Highly recommend if you’re in the area especially for late-night cravings!
