Customer Reviews
Don’t waste your time or money on this microwaved food. Food is freshly cooked and the wait is an hour or better. Customer service is poor along with the food. Small portions, the hollow is extremely dry and the chicken Suya. There was no meat on the chicken, please read the other reviews and save ya money. Try Burkina Supermarket on Lyons ave where they cook the food fresh, you can smell from your car. Food is flavorful and portions lasting. I will not return nor recommend. Please do better by your customers, this is your business take pride in it.
I called at 10:18 to order takeout. The guy that picked up was extremely impolite. Who asks “who is this?” to a potential customer. I ask if they’re still doing takeout he said he was about to leave I said cool. He asked how long would it take for me to get there I said 15 minutes. He says “hurry up.” I drive there and of course it’s closed, which is why I’m writing this review. DO BETTER.
I ordered a chicken suya. The spices were great but for what I paid, I expected more meat, less bone, and a dish that's not just a piece of aluminum foil. Like honestly, some of the cuts of meat are disrespectful.
I accidentally found this spot, but they were closing, so I couldn't try the food. I returned recently, and the Suya was perfectly fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious with the Aboki bread. Despite some surprising reviews, the food has been great every time I've had it. My only fuss is the menu had Suya fish the first time I visited, but it wasn’t on the menu the few other times I've come. Even though it's almost an hour away, it's now my go to spot, totally worth the trip.
I can’t recommend this place enough. The suya is really good, and the service was pleasant. I am impressed, I will be coming back.
