Lovely place. The staff is welcoming, and they have an amazing adult literacy program for adults with limited English proficiency. I also find that place to be a community center as I encountered many seniors there who really enjoy the events that library hosts. Keep on doing an impactful work!

Pretty quiet place to get some lesson planning done. Lots of tables and electrical outlets to plug into. Only complaint is that the first table i set up at was so shaky I thought it might collapse when I leaned on it. No worries, got another one just a few feet away.

Took my kiddo to a baking class they hosted. Learned a chocolate chip cookie recipe, the origin story of the chocolate chip cookie and even got to taste test 4 different cookies. They have a wide variety of books (obviously, they are a library) and if they dont have it, they can order them in from other libraries in Montgomery County.

The older African - American gentleman doesn’t greet or acknowledge you whatsoever when checking out. He is very rude, he seems to be the only one with this attitude. If you don’t like where you work, then don’t bother showing up.

I'm so grateful for this library and their dedication to diversity and representation. The children's book selection is so important in an era where banned books are on the rise. Finding books that help children with marginalized identities feel more seen is so powerful. I always love attending events at the library and enjoying the scavenger hunt with our kids. Rainbow Connections, Q Crew, and Pridefest are all such lovely programs as well (but I might be a bit biased as co-host of Rainbow Connections). We love seeing what new programming is happening at the library. The summer reading program is always so much fun, along with the event that coincides with it! The staff here is so incredible and helpful, we are just so thankful for this community staple.
