This place mainly focuses on curry, and you can choose the base: rice (classic), udon (thick and chewy, really good), or pasta (didn’t try it this time but will next time). The price is very affordable, which makes it perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, especially if you’re working nearby. You can choose a regular curry or add different meats and vegetables. The fried items are all available as add-ons — the tonkatsu, chicken nuggets, sausage, and tempura shrimp are all very tasty. They also serve shredded cabbage with Thousand Island dressing on the side, which helps balance the richness. For example, if you order beef curry rice and add tonkatsu, you basically get two portions of meat. Definitely worth trying!

Was able to walk in and get a table quickly. The food was easy to order via a screen at the table. The food came quickly and was steaming hot. I got the medium spicy vegetable curry with rice with chicken katsu. The spice was enough for me. The chicken was crispy and a good accompaniment to the vegetable curry. Overall it was an easy quick meal with good service. You can pay with cash or card but the prices on the menu are for cash payment. It was $27 cash or $30 credit payment for the meal and a soda which is a bit pricey but there don’t seem to be many curry-only options in the area.

Abiko Curry in Manhattan is hands down my favorite curry spot, and I finally brought my fiancée—she gets the hype now. The curry here has a deep, rich flavor profile that’s totally different from other places. It’s bold, comforting, and tastes like it’s been built layer by layer, not just “spicy sauce over rice.” I ordered one of the hottest spice levels, and it honestly wasn’t unbearable at all—so if you love spicy food, don’t be scared to level up. You’ll get the heat, but it won’t ruin the flavor. Service is quick, the food comes out fast, and it’s super efficient. The space is small and straightforward—more of a “go in, eat, enjoy, and head out” type of spot rather than a loungey dinner destination. We didn’t wait and were seated right away. It's a good restaurant. I normally don't like curry much. But I came here with my friends and I was surprised I enjoyed the food. I ended up getting the beef curry noodles and enjoyed it a lot. I ordered it extra spicy which is their second highest spicy level. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was that spicy at all. I didn't enjoy the pork chops either. They were pricey. To be fair, I don't think most Korean restaurants get pork chops right. It is pretty bland and dry even when I dip it in the curry soup. For me, just the curry noodles are great. I wouldn't recommend the pork chop add ons.

The curry is very tasty. The service was good too. Overall, the main attraction of this place for me was the coziness. This is one of the places you can really come and have a meal alone. For South Asians, the curry is not like the curry from South Asia. It tastes similar to when Maggi masala is added to a curry.
