The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the jerk chicken plate with rice and peas/cabbage. The chicken tasted amazing and had just enough spice. I also bought a side of carnival bread which was very tasty as well. The atmosphere was also nice, very dim and the staff who took my order was nice as well. I will definitely be coming back!

I went with some colleagues last Friday afternoon and it was great! The service was wonderful, the environment, and the food was tasty! I got the jerk chicken egg rolls, the spicy jerk Mac n cheese (not pictured), and the jerk salmon platter which was all great. The best for me was $35 bottomless mimosa with a bunch of different flavors! I’d recommend this spot if you’re looking for a low key but fun time.

From the moment we walked into A Beautiful Life, the atmosphere was unmatched—Jamaican-boho aesthetic, warm lighting, and you’d never guess you were right in downtown LA. Our server, Diamond, was absolutely exceptional. Her customer service, attentiveness, and amazing energy made the entire experience stand out. She truly elevated the night. This cafe delivers consistent quality every time. The food is amazing, the service is warm, and the atmosphere is inviting. Whether it’s the oxtails, jerk chicken and unique breakfast items, everything tastes fresh and well prepared. The staff is attentive. The oxtail eggrolls were my favorite snack, and I’ll definitely order them again.

The seasoning is bold without overpowering the meat. Add in the good atmosphere and friendly service and you get a dining experience that feels both fun and comforting. Also I love how welcoming this place feels. The good atmosphere and friendly energy make it great for families and groups. The oxtails dinners were flavorful and filling, and everyone at our table enjoyed their meals.
